Molise Region
Molise Region actively contributes to achieving the objectives of the GOVERNANCE Project by enhancing good governance practices and digital transformation within public administrations.
Building on its extensive experience in European Territorial Cooperation, the Region takes part in designing and implementing cross-border solutions for a more efficient, inclusive, and digital public sector.
Main responsibilities and activities:
- Participation in the design and implementation of digitalisation and simplification processes within regional and local administrations;
- Contribution to the Joint Strategic Model and preparation of Operational Plans focused on improving digital services and administrative procedures;
- Implementation of a pilot action dedicated to the digitalisation of the Regional Energy Archives, aimed at improving accessibility, data management, and interoperability of energy-related documents and datasets within the regional administration;
- Involvement in capacity building and training programmes to strengthen digital competences and knowledge on EU Cohesion Policy among public officials;
- Contribution to cross-border networking, knowledge transfer and study visits, fostering exchange of best practices between Italian, Albanian, and Montenegrin administrations;
- Active participation in the Multifunctional Hub (GOVERNANCE Platform) to promote institutional empowerment and digital skills development across partner territories.
Through these activities, and particularly through the Energy Archive Digitalisation Pilot, which represents a concrete example of digital innovation at regional level, the Molise Region reinforces its commitment to modernising public administration and to fostering an integrated, digitally skilled, and citizen-oriented governance system across the South Adriatic area
