The role of CINI (National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics) within the GOVERNANCE project can be framed as a technical-scientific and methodological contribution in support of the Apulia Region, within the context of an institutional collaboration that is grounded in a cooperative framework between public entities aimed at pursuing common objectives.
In this context, CINI plays a central role in the definition, planning, and implementation of project activities, as outlined in the jointly agreed Plan of Activities. Its contribution primarily consists in providing advanced expertise in the field of ICT, supporting the design of digital solutions, and adopting structured methodologies for the governance of innovation processes. In particular, CINI assists the Region in needs assessment, in the definition of technical and organizational requirements, and in the development of intervention models aligned with national and European best practices.
For the execution of the project activities, CINI relies in particular on its local nodes at the University of Salento and at the University of Bari, which contribute operationally to the implementation of the planned tasks and ensure a strong territorial anchoring of the initiative.
